Hikyuu walked down the sidewalk, listening to her iPod. She had her hands in her jacket pockets and her hood up as usual. Her hood stuck up two places, a lousy hide, but good enough. She was smiling, eyes closed, and bobbing her head to the beat of the song she was listening to. She ended up leaning against a wall, ignoring all the people passing by, their footsteps masked by the loud music. She enjoyed loud music; it drowned out all the sounds around her. She enjoyed going into that world of hers, where nobody bothered her, where she was one and nobody was there. She was alone there. She liked the silence. She liked the sounds in that silence. The drums. Guitar. Voice. She loved that music.
